James Bryant ... mbrother, Keven (1964-1975)

Lee Joseph 1973 - 2008
Lee with Tyla & Lewis, August 2008?

The celebration of Lee's life took place on 17 September 2008 at 1.30pm at Cambridge Crematorium.

Over 200 people attended and the weather was nice and the ceremony very touching and tearful. The song "Imagine" opened the ceremony then there were speeches from Lee's work colleagues, Hannah, Lee's best friend (Mark) and Ruth. I've been to four family funerals and I can say, with hand on heart, that this was the most special occasion of all. There were no hymns just music that had been special to Lee, ending with Baggy Trousers his favourite song as a teenager, that brought laughter through the tears.

Everyone grouped outside afterwards and Ruth and Gary were able to speak to each and every one (as you can imagine that took quite a long time). After the ceremony the reception was at Lee's favourite haunt - The Old Bridge Hotel, High Street, Huntingdon. At the hotel the food & service was excellent and all his favourites were on the buffet from Pringles (which they had to buy in especially) to chocolate chip muffins. There was a notice board with all Lee's pictures and comments from family and friends in the UK and overseas.

Had Lee been there in more than spirit he would have had a great time. It was nice to meet so many good people under difficult circumstances and on this dark day the sun broke through the darkest cloud and we all saw the light.
