James Bryant ... keven's last birthday party
This is a picture of Keven's last birthday party with all his school friends. It was held at 64 Manor Gardens, Buckden around 20/5/74 and I remember it well. It was a great time and everyone enjoyed themselves. Keven is in the back row, third from right.
The poem below is called The Sick Rose and is about death. I first read it at an English lesson at Longsands School in 1968 when I was 13 and I've penned it today (20/05/06) on the anniversary of Keven's birthday for the first time since my school days.
