Fig 1 shows a standard rig and Fig 2 the packaged rigs (left a helicopter rig and right the basic rig). These examples use a size 6 hook to 15lb braid which is strong enough for all but your wildest dreams!

You can make your own hair-rigs and I sometimes do for surface fishing but often buy the pre-made rigs for legering.
