© MMV James Bryant, this site is dedicated to Keven Bryant (1964-1975) who knew the pleasures of fishing but was not given the time.
This is the right way to use a bubble float with a lesser strength hook length - you can have stops ends either side of the bubble float.
If you fish straight through (no hook length) then you mustn't have a stop end on the bubble float nearest the rod.
Distance between bubble float and hook can vary, but start off at about 1000 mm.
Don't neglect free-lining (no float) as this, in my opinion, is better than using a bubble float at Trow. Finally, the presentation of the bait (bread is best) is important and if you want some excellent tips then email me and I'll spill the beans. See also hooks.
