© MMV James Bryant, this site is dedicated to Keven Bryant (1964-1975) who knew the pleasures of fishing but was not given the time.
THIS (left) is the larva of a dragon fly. It was found at Trow Pool during a clean up of the weed and was returned safely to the water (15/4/06).
The larva is difficult to see or find but the end result - dragonfly - is ubiquitous in late summer at Trow Pool.
The second picture (right) was taken on 21/7/07 and is the remaining "shell" from an emerged dragonfly that has since taken to the wing.
