Not one on my best pictures - one shot only as my batteries failed in the camera.
It's of a meadow brown butterfly caught on the way down to Trow Pool along the concrete road where the blackberry bushes grow (4 August 2007).
Meadow browns are common almost everywhere in the UK and are found in fields, roadsides and woodland margins. So you should easily see them around Trow.
They're a dull brown colour with bright orange-brown patches on their fore and hind wings and a distinctive dark eyespot on their forewings.
